Deadlines for July: Full-Length Manuscripts
We’ve got to be thankful to live in a world which offers so many opportunities for poets to get their work out there. Here are six presses and awards to submit your manuscript to this month.

Autumn House Press
Autumn House is looking for manuscripts between 50 & 80 pages. Winner receives $1k advance and a $1.5k grant for travel and touring expenses. Kimiko Hahn will guest judge this year.

Copper Canyon Press
Award judges always have their eyes on Copper Canyon’s publication schedule. Send them a manuscript 45-200 pages long, translations included.

Hopper Poetry Prize
For their Hopper Prize, Green Writers Press is looking for a manuscript “with an identified interest in the natural world and whose work explores issues tied to our ever-changing environment.” Winner will receive $500 and publication. Send them 45-90 pages of work.

The Linda Bruckheimer Series in Kentucky Literature
If you’re a Kentucky poet, or your writing a book set in or about Kentucky, or a Kentuckian is the subject of your manuscript—this series is perfect for you. Send Sarabande Books a manuscript of 48-100 pages for a chance at publication.
Entry Fee: $15

Trio House Press
Trio House Press is opening their general submissions this month. Take your time with this submission—they’d like a marketing plan to be included in the cover letter. Send them 48-70 pages of poetry. Trio House Press asks all of its published poets to continue to help the press with editorial duties for 24 months after publication.

Press 53 Award for Poetry
For American writers, this award grants $1500 advance and publication. The winner will officially be designated a Tom Lombardo Poetry Selection. Send them 60-120 pages.
