Binh is a Seattle-based writer and first-generation student from Vietnam. He is an MFA candidate at the University of Washington Creative Writing Program where he is the recipient of the 2024 Nelson Bentley MFA Award in Creative Writing. Binh is currently working on his first novel. “Mom Wants Things” is his first published poem.
