“Breaking and warming, breaking, warming, warming, breaking, warming, warming, and breaking”
Christopher Phelps (he/him) is a queer, neurodivergent poet. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he teaches math, creative problem solving, and a poetry workshop for a Montessori high school, as well as independently as a private tutor. His poems have appeared in periodicals including American Chordata, Beloit Poetry Journal, Poetry Magazine, and The Nation. In 2018 a chapbook of his poems, Tremblem, was printed by a friend. Christopher can get lost in his own neighborhood, following street cats that have touched their tails to him. He is searching for people who believe poetry is equal parts vulnerable and subversive communication. His first full-length book manuscript, Salve Age, is also afoot, hoping to stumble on a publisher.
