Tor Strand is a Fishtrap Fellow and recipient of the Mari Sandoz Emerging Writer award. He has been published in CIRQUE, Inverted Syntax, Caustic Frolic, The Santa Ana River Review and elsewhere. He was recently awarded the 2023 Margery Davis Boyden Wilderness Writing Residency located on the Wild and Scenic portion of the Rogue River where he tends a meadow and writes poems. Tor will begin studying at Oregon State University’s MFA program in poetry in the Fall of 2023.
