Vedran Husić was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and raised in Germany and the United States. His collection of stories, Basements and Other Museums, won the St. Lawrence Book Award and was published by Black Lawrence Press in 2018. He has work published or forthcoming in Blackbird, Electric Literature’s Recommended Reading, Copper Nickel, The Cincinnati Review, Poetry Northwest, AGNI, and elsewhere. He is the recipient of fellowships from The Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
